  1. Register the Event: First, register the birth, death, or change in marital status at the relevant Union Council, Cantonment Board, or Tehsil Municipal Office. Obtain a computerized certificate for the event.
  2. Visit the NADRA Office: After receiving the original certificate, visit the nearest NADRA office with the following purposes:
    • Birth Certificate: Apply for Form B based on the birth certificate.
    • Marital Status: Update your marital status on your ID card.
    • Deceased Person: Cancel the identity card of the deceased person.

How to Get a NADRA Birth Certificate?

Can I Get a Death Certificate Online?

As of now, NADRA does not offer the option to obtain a death certificate online. However, the process is straightforward:

  1. Register the Death: Visit the local Union Council, Cantonment Board, or Tehsil Municipal Office where the death occurred. Submit the required documents, such as the hospital death certificate and the deceased’s ID card. The office will issue a computerized death certificate.
  2. Cancel the ID Card: Take the computerized death certificate to a NADRA office to have the deceased person’s ID card canceled. This is an essential step to ensure that the person’s name is removed from the official records.

Although online services for obtaining death certificates are not available, the process is simple and can be completed by visiting the local offices.

How to Check Marriage Status in NADRA?

To check your marital status in NADRA’s records, follow these steps:

  1. Visit NADRA Office: Go to the nearest NADRA office with your ID card. Request a check of your marital status in their database.
  2. Submit Documents: You may be asked to provide additional documents, such as your marriage certificate, to verify your status.
  3. Update Status: If your marital status needs updating, you can submit the necessary documents, and NADRA will update your records accordingly. This update will be reflected on your ID card once it is reissued.
