Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has decided to block the Bigo App social media in Pakistan and has given a final warning to Tik Tok App due to immoral, obscene, and vulgar content resulting bad impact on society and the young generation.
A number of complaints were viral on social media sites due to obscene, vulgar, and immoral content of above-said applications and PTA has blocked Bigo app instantly and has given notice with last warning to Tik Tok company for moderating the socialization within legal limits and in accordance of Laws of Pakistan.
However, the response of these companies was not satisfactory as it is not Pakistan based companies and running their business all over the world.
Last but not least the other social media sites and applications were also given notices who have a negative effect on the young generation and high-handedness towards pornography, obscene, and vulgarity.
Now as the government body called PTA has blocked the Bigo App and issued a final warning to Tik Tok social media app to control the obscene content and place a comprehensive mechanism through its social media app.
