As per the Budget 2025-2026, the Government of Pakistan announced significant changes in the pay scale. This year, a 25% salary increase has been granted for employees in BPS-01 to BPS-16, and a 22% increase for those in BPS-17 to BPS-22. This update is effective from July 1, 2025, superseding the previous adjustments.

Key Updates:

1. 25% Increase for BPS-01 to BPS-16:
   • Minimum: PKR 13,550 (initial stage) to PKR 26,450 (last stage)
   • Average Increase: PKR 5,000
2. 22% Increase for BPS-17 to BPS-22:
   • Minimum: PKR 45,070 (initial stage) to PKR 244,130 (last stage)
   • Average Increase: PKR 36,632

Detailed Breakdown of Revised Pay Scales:

• BPS-01 to BPS-16:
  • Example: BPS-01 from PKR 13,550 (initial) with an increase of PKR 3,388 to PKR 26,450 (last stage) with an increase of PKR 6,613.
• BPS-17 to BPS-22:
  • Example: BPS-17 from PKR 45,070 (initial) with an increase of PKR 9,014 to PKR 113,470 (last stage) with an increase of PKR 22,694.

Additional Allowances:

1. Adhoc Relief Allowance:
   • 15% on the current basic pay starting from July 1, 2025.
2. Executive Allowance for BPS-17 to BPS-22:
   • 150% of the basic salary for officials in the Federal Secretariat.
3. Qualification Allowance:
   • Increased by 100% effective from July 1, 2025.
