Islamabab: Punjab Chief Minister Mohammad Shahbaz Sharif distributes 7500 laptop among the talented students of different universities and institutes of the province in a ceremony held at Jinnah convention centre.
Different renowned personalities attended this function.
The Chief Minister of Punjab also said that the 8 billion amounts have been spent for laptops to make the students capable of making research in Education. He Appreciated the Rawalpindi Boys who got laptops as high ranking as compared to girls and also other parts of the province.
Shahbaz Sharif also Challenged the federal government to find the corruption in laptop Scheme and federal government also do such schemes for the students to improve education in Pakistan.
Punjab Government has recently launch a solar energy lamp scheme in Lahore which also be followed in other parts of the province that would help the students to make their study during power load shedding, which is a gift of federal government.
Moreover 1,028 students were distributed laptops of Fatima Jinnah Unieversity and it is accomplished in two phases. In first Phase 8500 laptops have been distributed among students and tomorrow the second phase will be accomplished.
At this moment the Students of Fatima Jinnah Women University appreciated this movement of chief Minister of Punjab and said that all other government had been just raising slogans and promised with the public but could not do their promise. PML-N has enforced everything in reality in every field of life.
The chief minister could not excavate to distribute laptops between students of the FJWU, however, his advisor Begum Zakia Shahnawaz performed as special guest of the ceremony and Zaeem Ahmed Qadri Special Assistant to the Chief Minister on Higher Education also graced this function.
Speaking on the occasion, Zakia Shahnawaz and Zaeem Ahmed Qadri appreciated the steps taken by Punjab Chief Minister Mian Mohammad Shahbaz Sharif for the promotion of education in the province through various schemes.
Last year, in the first phase, the Punjab government distributed 120,000 laptops among talented students. Similarly, this year an equal number of laptops are being distributed among brilliant students of colleges and universities, both male and female.
