Raja Pervaiz Ashraf Nomination Papers for Na-51 rejected by ECP

RAWALPINDI: former prime minister and Pakistan People’s Party leader Raja Pervez Ashraf Nomination papers have been rejected for NA-51 Rawalpindi constituency, Geo News reported.

He was charged of defalcating funds and pampering in discrimination. The former prime minister had submitted his nomination papers from his home town Gojar Khan, which is located in the NA-51 constituency.


Ashraf was appointed as prime minister of Pakistan after the Supreme Court sent his harbinger Yousuf Raza Gilani due to not writing letter to Swiss authorities against President Asif Ali Zardari.
