Shab e Baraat Ky Fazail o Barakaat in Quran

Shab e Barat is also known as Mid-Sha’ban. It is the fifteenth bleesing night of islamic lunar calendar. Islamic books in urdu tells us about the importance of shab e Barat in the light of hadith in urdu and Islamic religion about this night of records and night of salvation.

 Let’s see Islamic Hadees (Hadith) on the light of shab e Barat in urdu.

In holy Quran of Muslims the merit of Shab e Barat shows in these verses cited as:

 “Surely, we have sent it (the Holy Qur’an) down in a blessed night. Surely, we are the Warner. In this (night) judgment is given on all matters of wisdom (separately) by Our Command.” (Sura ad-Dukhan, 44:3-5)

Islamic books in urdu muslim scholars Imam Qurtubi and Imam Jalal-ud-Din Suyuti has written that these Islamic verses narrates about the 15th Shaban night or Shab e Barat (E Barat).

Shab e Barat in Islam in Urdu Hadith

“In another Shab e Barat Hadith narrated by hazrat Ayesha Siddiqa(the mother of Faithful) that the whole month of shaban is meritorious. The Prophet Muhammad observed Fasting in whole month of shaban than any other in Islamic year.” (Sahi Bukhari).

Although observing fasts for whole month of Shaban is not obligatory in Islam but the prophet observed them for whole month of Shab e Barat.

Shab e Barat  special blessings of the 15th night of shaban also  reported by Hazrat Ayesha siddiqa (R.A)( the mother of faithful) that “ the Prophet  Muhammad Said that the Mid- shaban(  E Barat/ Shab e Barat) Allah Almighty most high descends to the lowest heaven and remits more sins than the hair of the goats of Banu Kalb.’” (Jami Tirmidhi)
