Master Motor to Launch Changan Alsvin cheapest car in Pakistan

Master Motor is all set to launch a 1500cc  Changan Alsvin sedan car on December 11, 2020. This would be the cheapest car in Pakistan against Toyota Yaris and hatchbacks.

Master Motor to launch Pakistan’s cheapest sedan on December 11

A renowned Master Molty Foam company has entered in Pakistan Auto industry for decades and has earned its name by providing a number of motors, buses, trucks minivan, etc. Now Master Motor is all set to launch Pakistan’s cheapest car of 1500cc  Changan Alsvin on December 11, 2020. The company claims that Changan Alsvin is looking to grab shares of Pakistan’s low-end sedans like Toyota Yaris and high-end hatchbacks such as Kia Picanto, Suzuki Cultus. The price of Changan Alsvin 15000cc is Rs.2 million to Rs.2.2 Million against Toyota Yaris which is Rs.2.5 Million to Rs.3 Million.

Master Motor has decided to launch two cars. One is a 1500cc sedan Alsvin and another SUV which they have to decide on.

Master Motor has established a joint venture with Changan and is already selling the Changan Karvaan, a minivan in Pakistan. The company has been in the automotive industry making commercial buses, trucks for passengers, and loading and auto-part manufacturing facility named Procon Engineering. Before coming to this joint venture the company has manufactured supply seats from motorcycles to high-end USVs. Master Motor has two automotive plants in Karachi having a yield of 740 buses, 9,000 trucks, and  30,000 passenger vehicles annually in Pakistan.

The Government Auto Development Policy 2016-21 paved a way for many companies to work in Pakistan and Changan is one of the car companies that came to Pakistan after 2016. As the policy will up in June 2021 so the company is looking forward to launching a maximum number of models before the deadline to get exemption of tax incentives for five years under the government’s scheme.  In Pakistan before Changan, Suzuki, Toyota, Honda, Hyundai, and Kia are the dominant players in the automotive industry.
