- If you want a passport with 36 pages that lasts for five years, it will cost Rs. 12,500.
- If you want a passport with 10 years validity, it will cost Rs. 16,200.
- If you need a bigger passport with 72 pages that lasts for five years, it will cost Rs. 18,500. For 10 years, it will cost Rs. 25,200.
- And if you want a really big passport with 100 pages that lasts for 10 years, it will cost Rs. 32,000.
The government hopes that by charging more money, they can fix the problems with passport delays and make the process smoother and safer. They are also offering faster processing for people who are in a hurry, but this might cost even more.
