The fresh Currency Notes will be issued for Eid ul Fitr 2023 by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), Notification Issued. The Central Banking Committee decided not to issue Fresh Currency Notes 2023 this Eid due to the effect of Covid-19 all over the World.
Moreover, the current and previous employment and subsidiaries also will not be the beneficiary of this feature. It advised all chief administrators to circulate the instructions to concerned officials.
How to Get Fresh Currency Notes 2023:
The State Bank of Pakistan – SBP offers to supply the new notes in the 1700 branches of banks for this Eid ul fitter. The citizenry can get fresh currency notes for Eid-ul-Fitr 2023. The People can also get fresh currency notes at 6 field offices of the State Bank of Pakistan also.
Enjoy new currency notes for Eid-ul-Fitr from May 01 to May 14 with the facility to get from 1700 bank branches of and 6 special desks in branches of State Bank.
Procedure to Get Fresh Currency Notes for Eid ul Fitr 2023:
Earlier visiting the bank, one needs to get registered through SMS from your registered mobile number. See below the process to find the fresh currency notes via SMS service.
Write the CNIC number in the message without dashes.
Add a space, and compose the E – branch code of your nearby bank.
Submit this message to 8877.
The format should be like “3540512354621 0034.”
You will get the reply within a day. The response will include a transaction code with a specific date to get currency notes. You must visit with this code on the given date to your nearby bank, you will need to give out your original CNIC with its copy to the relevant bank while receiving you currency notes…
T&C Apply:
Every customer can receive one packet of Rs 50 and Rs 100 fresh notes whereas three packets of Rs 10 new notes.
The fresh notes can be obtained on the same date prescribed in the reply. Upon another date, the service will not be offered.

State Bank Guidelines about Fresh currency notes
- Supply of fresh currency notes to the general public through commercial banks.
- All commercial banks will get currency notes with reference to an allocated quota based on their volume deposits.
- SBP teams will regularly visit the branches to ensure compliance with instructions.
- For redress, one can complain at the Head Office of SBP or may contact through helpdesk for complaints regarding fresh currency notes.
