The Election Commission of Pakistan has announced Jobs 2021 in its September advertisement for the posts of Deputy Director (BPS-18) and Assistant Director (BPS-17) in the gender affairs category.

Qualifications / Experiences / Skills:
– Master Degree (Equivalent to 16 years of education).
– Degree in Gender Studies, Sociology, Anthropology, Political Science, Public Administration or Law in advantageous / Gender & Women Studies will be preferred.
Place of Posting: Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi
Required skills:
– 5 years experience as a Researcher with knowledge of research databases and research methods, gender advocacy, technical support to government bodies on gender and research in gender issues in Government Organizations/Semi-Government (s).
OR
– 7 years experience as a Researcher with knowledge of research databases and research methods, gender advocacy, technical support to government bodies on gender and research in gender issues in reputed Private Sector organizations (s).
– In-depth Knowledge of national legal framework related to gender and non-discrimination and of Pakistan civil service organizational management and social psychology.
– Experience in elections, particularly working in an electoral management body is preferred. Demonstrable knowledge of the electoral cycle, electoral operations and planning is essential.
– Computer literacy and a desire to embrace technology are essential. and
– Skilled in the use of information technology equipment, and use of the internet and social media.
