How to apply for Ehsaas Emergency Cash Program?
Prime Minister Imran Khan has formally launched a national-wide SMS solution underneath the ‘Ehsaas Emergency money Program’. The program is targeted at helping the underprivileged, particularly anyone who has been worse hit by the overall economy during COVID-19 lockdown.

The Ehsaas Emergency Cash web portal has been opened for applications on which you can check your eligibility for the program. Those who have received a message from the District Administration via SMS can now register themselves on this portal without having to go to the district offices.
Special Assistant on Poverty Alleviation and Social Protection to the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Dr. Sania Nishtar shared the facts on Twitter.
- First of all, send CNIC # to 8171
- If Computerized CNIC is applicable, you automatically take to the next measure. If you will find a text message stating that your CNIC number is not eligible for the Ahsaas Emergency Cash Program.”
- In case the candidate is blocked because of
- sanity profiling, he might be informed via SMS. If not, you will go to the next step.
- If you or your wife is a government worker, you are not qualified for the Ehsas Emergency Cash Programme. You might be informed via Text Messages. When not really, you will move on to the next step.
- If the CNIC number is found in the NSER DataBase and it is qualified for the Ehsaas Emergency Cash Program, we will be notified via SMS accordingly about how to receive the cash grant.
- In case the CNIC is not present in the NSER DataBase then you will be advised via SMS. To resolve the issue, you would be asked to consult with Regional Offices to apply for the Ahsas program 2024.
