The Government of Punjab has announced an exciting initiative under the IRMNCH & N Program for Lady Health Visitors (LHVs). This program aims to fill 275 vacancies across various districts of Punjab, offering a chance to make a difference in communities through primary and secondary healthcare services.
Position Overview: Lady Health Visitor (LHV)
The LHV role is crucial in bridging the gap between communities and healthcare facilities. As an LHV, you will be responsible for providing essential healthcare services, promoting health awareness, and facilitating access to healthcare resources within your designated district.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be eligible for the LHV position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification: Candidates should have completed FSC (second division) from a recognized board, along with a diploma in relevant allied health sciences discipline from a recognized institute.
- Registration: Registration with the PNC (Pakistan Nursing Council) is compulsory for all applicants.
- District Preference: Preference will be given to candidates belonging to the districts where the vacancies are located.
- Special Consideration: Disabled individuals and minorities are encouraged to apply. They must provide a certified disability certificate from the medical board along with their application.

Selection Procedure
A selection committee will review the applications and conduct interviews for shortlisted candidates. Transgender citizens of Pakistan are also eligible to apply for these positions.
Important Notes
- Age Relaxation: Candidates can avail age relaxation of up to 8 years, while disabled persons can avail a relaxation of up to 15 years. The relaxation period will be calculated until the last date of the application process.
- Timely Submission: Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.
- Interview Schedule: The interview schedule will be uploaded on the official website of the Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department.
- Temporary Basis: These positions are temporary and contract-based.
