As per detail convict Imran Ali was executed in the presence of Magistrate Adil Sarwar and Zainab’s father Muhammad Ameen in Kot Lakhpat Jail Lahore this morning. An anti terrorism court judge had issued black warrants for Imran Ali convict on Friday for committing or the rape and murder of seven-year-old Zainab Ameen of Kasur District.
Zainab Father Talking to Media after Capital Punishment
While talking to media outside the Central Jail Kot Lakhpat, Zainab’s father Haji Ameen said that he is satisfied as he has witnessed the execution of convict Imran Ali. However he is bit lamented by rejecting his petition to hang the convict publically to make an example for others who commit such heinous offence.
He further added that no one from relatives of convict Imran Ali or his parents contact to him in regard to execution of murderer of Zainab Case.
Convict Imran Ali last meeting with Family
Earlier on 17 Oct 2018, jail authorities arranged the convict’s last meeting with his family members, which lasted for about 45 minutes. Who had come with an ambulance at the scene , accompanied by his brother and two of his friends etc. Death Sentence
On February 2, an ATC had awarded death sentence on four counts to Imran Ali, on the charges of kidnapping, rape and brutal murder of Zainab Amin of Kasur after completing the trial in record seven days time.
Zainab Murder Case Whole Story
Seven-year-old Zainab Amin was abducted on January 4 from nearby her aunt’s house in Kasur City when she was going for learning the Holy Quran and her body was recovered from a garbage heap near her house on January 9, 2018. A First Information report (FIR ) was registered having allegation of disappearance of the girl aged about seven years by her paternal uncle. After receiving of dead body of Zainab from garbage murder charges were added to the FIR on January 09 2018. A Suo Moto notice was taken by Chief Justice of Pakistan and as per police findings it was concluded that the girl was strangulated.
According to postmortem examination report it was suggested that she was raped before strangulation to death.
CCTV footage of girl being led by a suspect was circulated on social media after she went missing.
The murder of innocent seven year girl was sparked country wide protests and strikes in Kasure that results to mount pressure on the police to arrest the real culprit and there were two protests were killed while protesting against police.
The murder had sparked country-wide protests, and shutter-down strike in Kasur, mounting pressure on the police to start investigation and arrest the culprit. Two protesters were killed in clashes with police.
