The Indian actor Rishi Kapoor, who built a career as one of Bollywood’s romantic heroes, has died of leukemia at the age of 67.
Mr. Kapoor was a legend and the man of hearts all over the world and he remained strong, determined, and faithful till the last breath of his life. He was suffering from Leukemia and was undergoing treatment in two continents. Moreover, while being in treatment he remained joyful with doctors and paramedic staff as well as continued on his Bollywood career.
Indian film industry Bollywood lies all in all in Mumbai and Kapoor’s family has a very leading role for decades and they earned their name with their best work.
Rishi Kapoor belonged to doyens of Bollywood as his father Raj Kapoor and grandfather Prithviraj Kapoor had scored their names in the Bollywood history.
The legend Bollywood star started his Bollywood career at teenage in the film “Mera Naam joker” that was his father’s film and won the National Film Award for his debut child artist in 1970.
His work was leading to romantic movies and one of his great movie Laila Majnu- a story of Indian lovers earned his name in the subcontinent. Since 2000 he started work in Bollywood as a supporting role and in his last movie the body was released in 2019.
All his fans and Bollywood celebrities are full of sorrows on his death.
The deceased survived with his wife, son, and daughter.
Nowadays his son Ranbir Kapoor is the leading star of Bollywood. Indian prime minister Narendra Modi said Kapoor was a powerhouse of talent: “I will always recall our interactions, even on social media. He was passionate about films and India’s progress.”
Many famous celebrities of Bollywood like Amitabh Bachchan tweeted: “Rishi Kapoor gone … I just passed away … I am destroyed.”
