Special Security Unit (SSU) is consisted on well trained police commandos that have trained by latest and most advanced tactics as well as modern equipment usuage for security purpose.
Now this Unit is headed by Lt. (R) Maqsood Ahmed, AIGP Security Sindh who is recognized as an energetic and committed officer of Sindh Police. Lt. (R) Maqsood Ahmed has also awarded by Tamgha-e-Imtiaz in 2012.
Special Security Unit (SSU) Sindh Police is now having task to select candidates for on transparent basis and on merit.
