Lahore( 28 September 2013): Punjab Provincial Education Minister, Rana Mashood Ahmed has annunciated that Punjab government has determined to distribute tablet PC among the students of class six to Ten. The step would be taken to end the system of text books and school bags.
The content of all the books will be changed into tablets while each digital book will have cost of Rs 5000 approximately. He also stated that a British company and a computer software company have been appointed for this aim and in next meeting with the Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif all the arrangements will be done.
