In a statement, Professor Ibrahim said that leaving the Government Committee member Major (retd) Amir would be a bad impact on dialogue process. “I am appealing to Major (retd) Amir that he should return to be a part of Government committee.
According to Professor Ibrahim the role of the committees was to bring the government and Taliban close stressing the importance of the next round of talks.
He also added that there had been difficulties to contact with Taliban but now Maulana Yousaf Shah has counting efforts to contact them and come to dialogue process.
