PM Nawaz Sharif addressed in Islamabad at Jinnah Convention Centre and announced 341 billion rupees package for farmers that is historically represented.
PM said that, with the cooperation of provincial governments of Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Baluchistan, farmers will be provided Rs5,000 per acre of land, and this amount is Rs40 billion that will given by Government.
Fertilizer Price will be decreased up to Rs.500 per bag and for Urea fertilizer the recently increased price will be finished and farmers will get free-interest loans from commercial banks to get Solar Energy Tube-wells that will reduce the use of Electricity and Diesel Oil Cost.
PM Said that Government has spent Rs 1 billion for Bhasha Dam land adding in Kissan convention relief pacakage addressing.
In this relief Package of Farmers Rs.20 bilion would be funded for reducing the price of fertilizers. this ammount will be used to reduce fertilisers, pesticides, power for tubewells and tractors price.
“Neither there was electricity and gas nor any peace in the country, Karachi too was miserable before our government assumed charge of the country with ailing economy,” he said.
He said that Pakistan’s economic indicators were improving while the international organiations were also expressing confidence in the country.
“This is not what the government is claiming instead this is what the world is saying now,” he added.
He said that all the “big projects” in Pakistan were inaugurated by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz.
