While talking on social media through Youtube channel named Rawalpindi Express, former pacer Shoib Akhtar claimed that his talks are underway with the Pakistan Cricket Board for his appointment as chief selector in replace of Misbah-ul-Haq. The Pakistan cricket board has denied this news and clarified that no responsibility is being given to Shoaib Akhtar.
