PCB Appointed new Director for Pakistan Men’s Team

Lahore, November 15, 2023: Pakistan Cricket  Board  has changed the executive committee and staff members after World Cup 2023. Renowned former Test captain, Mohammad Hafeez, has been appointed as the Director of the Pakistan Men’s Cricket Team. With an impressive international career, Hafeez boasts 55 Test matches, 218 ODIs, and 119 T20Is, amassing a total of 12,780 runs and claiming 253 wickets.

Notably, Hafeez recently served on the PCB Cricket Technical Committee and was a key member of the Pakistan Men’s team that secured victory in the ICC Champions Trophy in England in 2017.

In a strategic move, the PCB has reshuffled the roles within the Pakistan coaching staff. All coaches will maintain their positions at the National Cricket Academy, with the announcement of the new coaching staff for the upcoming series in Australia and New Zealand to be made in due course.
