Pakistani lecturer ranked World’s Top 1% in Science Researchers

Dr. Mubashar Rehmani is one of the Pakistani academic-based people who has achieved a big landmark and has ranked himself in the World’s 1% the most influential researcher in the computer science field.

He studied at Mehran University of Engineering and Technology and working as a lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at Cork Institute of Technology (CIT) in Ireland.


His work focus on Networking including wireless networks, blockchain, cognitive radio networks, and software-defined networks.  He has written over 100 peer-reviewed articles of which 12 featured as highly cited articles by Clarivate Analytics.  His research work has been applauded around the world and has become the recipient of several best paper awards.

The latest highly talented researchers report published by Clarivate Analytics demonstrated significant influence in their fields for the last decade. This year covered 26 laureates and recognized 6400 researchers across 21 fields being most significant to tackle world challenges.

Moreover, in November 2020 81 Pakistani academics figured in the list o 2 % scientists in the global list issued by United States Stanford University. Out of the  11 teachers from Quaid-i- Azam Univerity Islamabad.
