Boxer Amir Khan held over alleged street assault

BOLTON: Pakistani British Boxer Amir khan has been arrested after allegedly beating two young men in a street fight.

According to British media reports 27 years old former world champion and silver medalist of Olympic games was arrested in early morning today after an incident in Russell Street Heaton, when he was coming back from mosque.

Two youths were hurt but not so much injured police said.

According to eyewitness the alleged attack happened when amir khan was pulled up alongside the group in a Mercedes C Class in front of Velden Engineering.

The two victims were already know Amir khan and some reports said that the incident happened after the victims were also   giving cheek to one of Khan’s friends.

Both victims are not serious now, one has got injury on his cheek and the other on leg while amir khan also said to them that do you know I am AK.

The Boxer released after bail.
