In the second playoff back in September, Pakistan Polo Team defeated India 7-3 to advance to the XII FIP World Cup Polo Championship.
Hamza Nawaz Khan, who played sublime polo and scored six goals to lead his team to a remarkable victory, was Pakistan’s player of the day. Raja Mikayel Sami, another gifted young player, also scored one goal.
Other Pakistan team members were Raja Sami Ullah and Raja Temur Nadeem while Brig (r) Badar Zaman was the team manager.
