NEPRA increases Power tariff for Karachi by Rs.4.7 per unit

NEPRA increases power tariff for Karachi city by Rs.4.7 per unit to all K-electric consumers in city or suburbs of city.

The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) issued new tariff on Tuesday for all K-electric consumers. This new Tariff will allow them to collect Rs.106 billion from all K-electric consumers. Electricity rate has been increased from Rs12.81 to Rs17.69 per unit as a result of different items would increase their sale and purchase rates and inflation would affect common person life as well as small industries.
