MQM Mourning Day against the extra-judicial killings of its workers

KARACHI: (07-02-2014) Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has announced to  observe mourning day on Saturday against its workers judicial killings, Geo news reported.

Haider Abbas Rivzi the MQM leader of Pakistan has announced this while speaking a press conference at Nine Zero (90) on Friday.

Haider Abbas Rizvi invoked to traders and transporters to shut their business tomorrow on Saturday.

The Rizvi said extra-judicial killing of party workers was being carried out. He said there was no information of 45 missing militants, adding he did not know whether missing workers were alive or in the detention of law enforcement agencies.

Haider Abbas further said Muhammad Suleman and his nephew were arrested by police from Korangi Crossing on Feb 03. He said according to post-mortem report of Suleman he was brutally tortured.

He also demanded human rights groups to take notice of the extra-judicial killings of MQM activists.

Karachi police chief Shahid Hayyat should also be nominated in the FIR of party activist’s killing, MQM leader Nasreen Jalil said.
