Lahore Orange Line Metro Train Project Signed Between Pak-China

Pakistan, China sign Lahore metro train agreement

Today on Thursday 22nd May 2014 Orange Line Lahore Metro Train Project signed in Shanghai between Pakistan and China. The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the fourth summit of “Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia.

 Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz sharif signed the contract with the Chinese commission of National Development Reforms. President Mamnoon Hussain who was already visiting of China and his Counterpart Xi Jinping also witnessed the signing ceremony.

According to reports this project named as Orange line Lahore Metro Train consisted of 27.1 kilometres long track will be built at the cost of $1.27 billion.

Talking to media shahbaz Sharif said that it is a big day of Pakistan. “The Metro train will revolutionize the way of People living in pakistan and will feel easy to travel having no trouble at all”.

Two countries President also said while signing mega Project between Pakistan and China that this project will complete on fast track and it is the best corridor project to vibrant Trade, energy and economic issues between two countries.
