AKORA KHATTAK: The standstill in talking between the government and Taliban committees has ended as the two groups met here on Wednesday March 5, 2014.

The two groups discussed in different matters related to restoration of talking between Taliban and Government of Pakistan and also exchanged greetings.

Talking to media coordinator government committee, Irfan Siddiqui said that Government has come to Akhora Khatak to discuss matters related to restoration of talking with Taliban Committee.

He expressed his ignorance about news relating to disassociation of Major (retired) Amir from the government committee.

On the other hand, sources said that the government and Taliban committees in a secret meeting last week had held discussions on matters relating to the revival of talks.

Sources also said the government committee has given some new proposals to the prime minister suggesting the comprehension of the interpreters of capital government, army, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial government in the committee.

Government Committee also says that direct discussion with  Taliban committee  will be proceed in a positive  way.
