ISLAMABAD: The government has written a letter to the British government seeking the return of former prime minister and PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif in London.
According to sources, a letter has been written to the British Government through the Foreign Ministry on the recommendation of the Punjab Government.
The letter says that Nawaz Sharif is a convicted criminal so he should be sent back.
Firdous Ashiq Awan, the Assistant Prime Minister’s Special Information, has also confirmed the writing of a letter to the UK for the return of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
