After completing her graduation she joined Indira Gandhi National Open University in Bachelors of Arts (Sociology) but never completed it. Deepika gave up studies for modeling and acting. She was also chosen as the brand ambassador of Levi Strauss. During her school studies she started to play badminton and played for national level as a Badminton player but she did not find this game as his career and started modeling.
