According to a recent report from International Data Corporation, a Boston-based analytics firm, tablet cargoes will outpace those of portable personal computers this year – and will surpass the entire PC market, portables and desktops combined, by 2015. Tablet consignments are expected to reach 229.3 million units in 2013, up from 144.5 million units last year, according to the IDC.
