KARACHI: TV drama Andhera Ujaala of mid 80’s that made extraordinary popularity among spectators across the country, has made a fresh comeback on today’s stage.
primitively scripted by film actor Shaan Shahid and directed by Umar Sultan, the play will extend to be staged till October 13 at a local area.
The show is an effort to present a softer image of Pakistan’s police force by showing a human side of the men in uniform.
Brilliantly produced by Veera the theatre play also includes four songs.
The play has been written by Shafqat Khan and it has so far received an advocating reaction from the audience. It is being dubbed as a step towards restoring Karachi’s previous status of ‘city of lights’ and revive the theatre in Pakistan.
