Pakistan Will Host Asian Championship for the Fourth time

Karachi: In Asian Billiards and Snooker championship Pakistan Will Host for the Fourth time since 1994 despite security matters and recent bomb blast in which 48 people killed.

Pakistan Billiards and Snooker  Association ( PBSA) President Alamgeer Singh has announced on Wednesday that Pakistan will host the Asian  Billiards and Snooker Championship which will starts from 27th April and ends on May 3, 2013.

President Alamgeer  singh also stated that the championship will host in Pakistan despite Security concerns which forced  a recent event with arch-rival India to be cancelled.

We expect that more than 20 to 25 countries will participate in this event, and India, Iran, Afghanistan have already participated, Sheikh added.

In Asian Championship Pakistan is a strong contestant and this series is honored for all countries.

However India has forced to put off this series due to current security issue and Bomb killing in which 48 people died.

In Pakistan all international sports  has been banned due to Srilanka Team attack in March  2009 in Lahore, and now  Pakistan has become a no go area for all countries .

Pakistan will host for the Asia Championship for the fourth time and since 1991, and has won 2 times world medal in Snooker.
